When I changed to Laravel I knew I'd stand before the same problem.. And welp, here I am again.

The idea was to mark entries in the database with a checkbox and generate one PDF with all the content needed from these entries. But this is where I struggle.. atleast somehow. I've tried packages like vsmoraes/laravel-pdf, phantompdf and barryvdh/laravel-dompdf but it didnt work completely. With the latter I got it working except:
It ignores CSS. I linked my local bootstrap.css file - No styles applied. I linked to their CDN - No styles applied. I even tried and put the whole css content into the head of the view and yet it still ignored it.

Did anyone else faced a problem like this and managed to get it working? I'd rather not use something like snappy from barryvdh since it's another programm to download. I'd like to accomplish this with composer only, if this is possible.
