MotoGP 08 is a classic in racing games. This saga has always offered the finest and more realistic experience in this kind of videogames. This is the first time that one single developer, Capcom, is responsible for the entire system platform.
Last year’s MotoGP season was no classic, though it still often managed to cram more drama into 45 minutes of action on a Sunday afternoon than the F1 circus does in an entire year. Valentino Rossi, sidelined for so long after one tumble too many, saw rising star Jorge Lorenzo take the first of what’s surely going to be multiple titles, and a rivalry emerged between the two Yamaha stars that threatens to be as fierce as any in the world of sport.

MotoGP 15 is one of those 'incremental upgrades' that invariably causes whining and grinding of teeth. But in reality, in this case, the small adjustments have made a remarkable difference in experience, so I'm not sad. This is a more welcoming and consistent package, and so exhaustive in terms of sports reproduction.
As before, you get all the equipment, bikes and riders of the current Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP season, but you also get last year, with a 2014 event mode that asks you to play classic battles like Rossi vs. Marquez in Qatar. It's a great use of the license, and seeing Valentino beaming at you from the loading screen (along with a suitably inspiring quote), goes a long way to making you feel closer to the real-life sport. That said, the presentation feels very similar to last year's game.
